Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of the Penguin smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed
After the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, plays a game to take control of Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from a Bat-signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got our hands on Robert Pattinson in the lead role in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman? For his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual smoker, with a penchant for cigars.

The Penguin is simply awesome
Wow. Everyone knows what a great actor Colin Farrell is, but here he’s unrecognizable as the Penguin. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated for some awards for his role in this.
I was wrong
The biggest surprise was Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. I wasn’t too sure when I heard she was cast in this role, she’s a good actress but I didn’t think this role was for her. She’s just as good as Farrell in this and makes you believe that Sofia Falcone is a real match for the Penguin.

I also wouldn’t be surprised to see how many awards she’s nominated for for her role in this. This isn’t your typical DC or Marvel series, it’s a gangster series. This series takes place in the underworld of a now-demolished Gotham City and is a great follow-up to Matt Reeves’ Batman.
