"Smile 2" a good film that manages to tell a solid story of horror and suspense without being a masterpiece. Its predecessor "Smile" an overrated film, but this sequel improves many aspects of the script. The cinematography is good, especially in those pop music mood scenes.
The makeup effects are realistic and gory
The performances are good, with highlights from Naomi Scott and Kyle Gallner. Director Parker Finn shows maturity in his cinematography, clearly outdoing himself. The soundtrack is somber and heightens the tension in several scenes.
"Smile 2" one of those sequels that surpasses the first movie
It is worth mentioning that the scene when Sky’s apartment is overrun by characters with devilish smiles will become an iconic scene in horror movies.
