The townscape was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Chronology
Solve the mystery of a town in the central United States that imprisons all who enter it. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The location known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago it contained residences, a public hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a grocery store, etc.
All that remains are cobblestone streets and driveways, upon which a mock town has been built
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. When Boyd heads toward a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. The rope is thrown to him (presumably) by Martin in the room above, though his wrists are chained.

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever, Will Be) Writer: Jay Livingstone and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. While there are still too many unanswered questions and the second season wasn’t as good as the first, it’s still worth watching. Overall, From is as good as all the hype surrounding it.
It was certainly a lot better than I expected
Despite the fact that there is some horror and some gore, this show is much more than just a horror show. I know it’s been compared to Lost in a lot of reviews, and while it’s not as good as that show, I understand where they’re getting that comparison from. It’s a very smart show, with a lot of unknowns and mysteries.
I just started watching the second season, and while it’s not as good, it’s still entertaining
Every answer we get leads to more questions, and I’m afraid there are more questions than answers, but so far it’s been a fun show to watch.
